Action Radio & Communications, Inc. has been providing quality products and services since 1972. We have evolved from Action Radio Center, Inc. into Action Radio & Communications, Inc. and Action Squad Outfitters. Through the years our main goal has been to earn the respect and trust of our customers. We accomplished this by providing our customers with courteous service and competitive prices before, during and after every sale. The Action staff understands that customer satisfaction depends on our ability, knowledge, and service. We continually strive to provide quality products and services to our many satisfied customers throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas.
Service & Repair Department
Action is an authorized warranty service provider for many products. Our service and repair department at our Maple Grove facility supports most brands of two-way mobile, portable and base station radios. We also service and repair several emergency vehicle lighting products and radar and video devices.
Installation Facility
Our new installation facility is located in Maple Grove. We have plenty of secured outdoor storage with alarms and 24-hour camera surveillance. Our air-conditioned installation facility is capable of handling more than 12 vehicles at any given time.

The Action sales staff has many years of knowledge and experience and is able to make product recommendations that meet the demands of our customers.

Growth and Location
Action Radio & Communications, Inc. and Action Squad Outfitters have experienced steady growth over the years. We just moved into our new 27,000 square foot building in Maple Grove with plenty of room for expansion. Our new location is easy to get to from any freeway.

Whether a tower, water tower, or tall building Action Radio & Communications, Inc. is capable of providing all the necessary expertise necessary to design and install your communications system. We deal directly with the top manufacturers of radio equipment and site hardware. We employ trained professionals capable of configuring, installing, testing, and trouble shooting the most intense communications systems. We meet all manufacturers’ guidelines and local codes related to the installation of equipment at your site. Subcontractors hired by Action Radio & Communications, Inc. must also agree to meet manufacturer’s guidelines and local codes .

Our staff is instructed to put quality before speed. We comply with all industry standards for the installation of simple systems to complex systems. We have experience with rooftop, tower, and water tower installations of antennas, coaxial feed line, connectors, lightning protection, transmitter combining systems, receiver multicouplers, trunking systems, wireless LAN and WAN equipment, etc.
In building solutions
Action Radio & Communications, Inc. has been in the forefront providing solutions for in-building coverage issues. We have provided systems for the Metropolitan Airports Commission runway tunnels, Protein Design Labs manufacturing and office facility, City of Crystal offices, and several other entities. From large buildings, shopping malls, and tunnels to small buildings Action Radio & Communications, Inc. will provide answers to your wireless coverage needs.
Vehicle installation
Install Technicians employed by Action Radio & Communications, Inc. practice quality. Installation Technicians are extensively trained before they are able to work solo on any customer vehicle. All vehicle installations are fully inspected and tested prior to delivering to customers. We are so confident our installations are one of the best in the industry that we provide a lifetime warranty on all installation work performed by Action Radio & Communications, Inc.
Federal communications commission
Action Radio & Communications, Inc. has in house staff capable of handling all of your FCC Licensing issues. We prepare license applications for frequency coordination, submit license renewals, perform administrative updates, CORES registrations, required notices for build outs, license consummations, etc.
